After I watched the sunrise and fed Landon breakfast I snuck him down to the beach early. This is a memory I will cherish most from our trip. The quiet of the beach and the company of my son. Spending this quality time with him watching the birds retrieve their breakfast and then searching for the perfect seashells to bring home are the precious moments. It reminds me of what matters the most. It reiterates to me what I have always known. We have a picture frame in our home that reads "The important things in life aren't things". It was never more true as I was sitting on the beach listening to Landon laugh and giggle at the birds.
