Our life is something extraordinary! We live your average run of the mill life but it is our family and friends that make our life EXTRA ORDINARY.
Adam and I met in 2001 while I was bar tending at a local restaurant (he was of course a patron). At the time I was young and had no interest in a relationship so what spark we did have fizzled out. Fast forward two years later (2003) - we run into each other while out on the town with mutual friends and we hit it off. He was all over me like a cheap suit! I guess he had been pining for me all those years. NOTE: This is MY side of a story. I am sure he will say the opposite. After that night we were pretty much inseparable. By 2004 we were shacking up in a top dollar apartment in Manassas and in 2005 we were engaged and later married in 2006. I was a June bride. If you haven't seen the movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" then you wouldn't understand the importance of being a June bride. It is the ONLY month to get married in. Here is a link to see what I am talking about.
You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.

We of course wanted to start a family so once we bought our house we tried our luck with a dog. At times it feels like we bit off more than we could chew with her but we love her anyways. She is a little tom-boy dog who will eat anything and hump anything she can get her paws on. She is full of life and personality and a big part of our family.
In 2008 we received a little surprise - our family was going to grow once again. Landon came as a surprise to us because we weren't planning on having kids yet but once I knew he was coming I was so ecstatic! I had always wanted a little boy and when Adam and I got married I knew I wanted a little boy with green eyes (like Adam) and red hair (like both of us). Prayers answered!
Since the birth of Landon our lives have done a complete 180. Every day we go on a new adventure with him. This blog is about our life and our journey. The ups and downs of parenthood. I want Landon to have something to look back on so he knows where he came from. I am also afraid that I will forget some of the stories and I really want to be able to embarrass the holy hell out of him when he is older. I love being a mom!
Thank you for your interest (although I am sure most of who is actually reading this is related to me in some fashion) in our life and I hope you enjoy yourself as you read how these Four Wall's Made Their Home.
